Inclusive Rates

Rates include:


• Unlimited kilometers for all vehicle types
• One way rental fees (except Broome where an additional charge of AUD385 applies)
• Additional driver fee
• Full Insurance Cover (nil excess)
• Living equipment, plus camping table, chairs, beach umbrella and baby or booster seats if required.
• Full water tank and gas bottle(s)
• Satellite safety beacon and GPS navigation systems in 4WD only
• Nationwide road side assistance & free phone help-line
• Multiple replacements and repairs of windscreens and tires
• Extensive travel information pack
• Cleaning fee
• 10% G.S.T. (Goods and Services tax) and 2% Local State Tax

Minimum Rental Duration and Costings
Minimum rental period: 5 days.

Vehicle rentals are calculated on a per calendar day basis, i.e. day of pick-up or drop off is always counted as a full day irrespective of what time it is collected or dropped off.

Long-term Rental
Special conditions apply for rentals of more than 50 days. Details available on application.

Rental Locations (Vehicle collection & return)
Locations: Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney

Office Hours:

(Late returns will be charged on a per day basis)
All branches are closed Christmas Day.

One Way Rental Fee
No one-way fee is applicable between all depot locations except Broome, where an additional charge of AUD385 applies

License and Minimum Age
A valid national drivers license is required. National drivers licenses, which are not in English, need to be presented in conjunction with an official translation or valid international drivers license. The minimum age is 21 years.

Excess and Bond Policy
All KEA Campers vehicles come with comprehensive insurance cover, and under the All Inclusive rate Program, there is no excess payable. A security bond of AUD250.00 is payable at the time of pickup., however, to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in a clean condition and the toilet cassette and waste water tank has been emptied and no items are lost or damaged. The security bond can be paid by cash, traveler's cheque or credit card.

IMPORTANT:The renter is fully liable for any damage to the KEA Campers vehicle or third party property if:

• The terms of the rental contract are breached.
• Damage to the vehicle is caused by careless, willful or reckless driving.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Driving on restricted roads.
• Water submersion or salt-water damage caused through own fault.
  

Road Restrictions
Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or access roads. 4WD's also allowed on recognized 4WD tracks. Special terms and conditions apply for travel in the following areas: Cape York, Simpson Desert, Gunbarrel Highway, Canning Stock Route, Oondnadatta Track, Birdsville Track, the Warburton Road, Tanami Track, Gibb River Road and any other area in excess of 100 kilometers from the nearest sealed road. No vehicle is to be taken into salt water.

Repairs
Repairs of up to AUD100.00 may be affected without authorization and will be reimbursed. Amounts above AUD100.00 require approval from KEA on-road assistance.

Vehicle Return
All vehicles must be returned with a full fuel tank. Re-fuelling at the KEA depot will be charged at AUD1.50 per liter of fuel.

Cancellation Fees
Fees in Percentage of Gross Rates if:

Change of Vehicle
If, for reasons beyond our control, the reserved vehicle is not available, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable or superior vehicle at no extra cost to the client. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the renter to any form of refund.

Arrival & Departure
It's quick and easy to get to and from all our depots to the Airport. ur depot.

Comprehensive Travel Information Pack
Includes details on camping grounds, maps, traffic rules, sightseeing brochures and general information.

Road Atlas
You will find a road atlas in the glove box of your vehicle to use on your holiday.

Nationwide Backup Service
We provide you with a Freephone number for on road assistance. This service is available from 7.00am until 10.00pm.

Luggage Storage
If you don't want to take your suitcases with you, they can be stored in our depot if the vehicle pick up and drop off depot is the same.

Taxes
All charges include 10% GST and 2% Local State Tax. All rates and conditions are subject to change in accordance with changes in government taxes
